Sphera is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and Supply Chain Sustainability (SCS) solutions across the DACH region.
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities with both new and existing clients. You will also lead and mentor a team of Solutions Executives, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals. As a senior representative of Sphera, you will embody our commitment to client satisfaction, trust, and long-term partnership, serving as a trusted advisor both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the growing sales team for Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and Supply Chain Sustainability (SCS) in the DACH region after a defined onboarding period.
- Motivate the team to drive sufficient sale pipeline coverage continuously to meet and exceed quotas with linearity.
- Use Salesforce reports and dashboards to report individual rep metrics.
- Report on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and YTD performance, including measurement of team’s impact on revenue.
- Drive Deal Strategy, Account Planning, and Deal Review sessions.
- Participate in regular Company and office meetings to share team/program progress, identify blockers, and advance efforts.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5-7 years of experience with building, managing, and guiding sales teams with established metrics using sales management expertise in the B2B software or broader B2B technology solutions market.
- Experience in the Challenger Sales Methodology and MEDDICC, or experience implementing a consultative value-selling process a plus.
- Detail-orientation, operational focus with an ability to teach key sales techniques and coach sustained professional improvement.
- Strategize with sales & marketing leadership to maximize penetration of named strategic target accounts.
- Proven history of setting up and executing inside sales training and rep development programs.
- Strong planning, writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in the SaaS, Software or Technology industry preferred.
- Proven history of fostering a "Hunter" mindset culture within the team.
- Must have a strong desire to work for a fast-paced rapidly growing company that is creating a new market successfully.
- Fluent in German and English
