Your new role
As our new Manager for Finance, Supply Chain & Environment, you will lead a team of 11 dedi-cated team members and be part of our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) factory in Ka-lundborg called M1 which is an API facility with approx. 689 employees working day and night to produce marketed insulin, GLP-1, and obesity products for patients around the world. You will be positioned in Business Support and be Head of Finance, Supply Chain & Environ-ment, responsible for Finance, Project Controlling, Supply Chain, Environment and Release.
Your key responsibilities and deliveries include:
- Cultivating a high performing team culture with strong engagement & well-being, focus-ing on people development and continuous process optimization
- Leading the budgeting process and acting as a strategic partner to the management team, your team, and related departments
- Overseeing project controlling for investment projects in close collaboration with the Project Office and Project Portfolio Manager
- Drive the sustainability agenda for M1 together with the environment team to reduce our environmental footprint.
- Managing our supply chain of critical production materials, including forecasting of pro-duction volumes & inventory control, in close coordination with central supply chain functions & suppliers
- Support the team in ensuring that our produced batches are ready for release in a timely manner.
Your role also involves close collaboration with the factories and the central Supply Chain & Fi-nance function to ensure that we effectively deliver on our agreed commitments.
Additionally, you will be an integral part of the leadership team in M1 Business Support.
Your new department
In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most. You will be a part of a Business Support department in one of our production facilities in Ka-lundborg, Denmark. The department is app. 50 highly engaged employees divided into 4 differ-ent teams. The department is supporting productions within Supply Chain, Finance, training, logistics & warehouse, procurement, production planning, and environment. Our main goal is to support our factory with the best possible business support, within our ar-eas of responsibility. We are working closely together with our colleagues across the factories and the central business support function.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this position, we believe you to:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administra-tion, Engineering, or another related field
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to build trust, foster engage-ment, and support team well-being
- Possess solid experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Finance acquired within a complex function in a highly regulated industry
- Showcase professional proficiency in both spoken and written English
As a person, you are proactive and a fast learner. As a leader, you are inclusive and can moti-vate and develop your team in a dynamic environment. You form trustful relations with ease and enjoy employing your excellent communication skills to unfold complex issues with col-leagues and partners.
