Our team plays a central role in assessing supply chain and trade compliance across the full value stream at Vestas. This includes evaluating the configuration of offshore wind parks, supporting the setup of new Vestas factories, or enabling production for new markets within our existing network.
Responsibilities
- Support supply chain and trade compliance assessments for international project sales, in close collaboration with global and regional functions such as Offshore Sales, Construction, Supply Chain, Tax, Customs, Finance, and Digital Solutions
- Process conceptualization - Ensure that the right processes are in place and that the supply chain is structured in the most efficient and financially responsible way
- Contribute to developing, defining, implementing, and documenting solutions across the full value chain when new trade flows are introduced in business
- Solution conceptualization and template standardization - Translate business needs into clear solutions based on structured analysis.
- Support both global cross-functional projects and day-to-day operations by identifying and implementing standardized processes
- Continuous improvement - Evaluate and enhance existing trade flow solutions to support ongoing optimization efforts
- Stakeholder management - Engage with stakeholders across the full value chain and collaborate with colleagues from various areas of the business
- Delivery coordination and follow-through - Ensure that business requirements are clearly communicated, clarified, and delivered by the solution team (Product Owner)
Qualifications
- A degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Development or similar – alternatively, you have equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 8 years’ work experience developing global trade concepts, processes, and solution designs in an international organization
- Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, including modules such as GTS, SD, MM, TMS, and FI
- Familiarity with supply chain and tax compliance, trade management, intercompany processes, VAT, duty, and procurement
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience working with agile methodologies, project management, and change management
- Previous experience in the wind energy or maritime sector, or relevant experience from a commercial, manufacturing, finance, or systems perspective

Additional information
The position can be based in either Aarhus or Copenhagen, Denmark, with an expectation to work on-site at least three days per week. Travel of 10 - 25 days per year should be expected.
