The job as a Trader
As a Trader, you will play a vital role in our trading team, being responsible for trading and ensuring that all operational processes run smoothly. You will participate in the development and execution of trading strategies, as well as the continuous analysis of market trends to identify profitable opportunities. You will be responsible for monitoring real-time data and making quick decisions to ensure that we seize the right market opportunities.
We expect you to have experience in energy trading and have a deep desire to learn and be among the best traders in the industry.
You will be part of the same shift rotation as our current traders to keep our trading engine running 24/7, 365 days a year. Our Aarhus office covers day shifts and some evening shifts, our New York office covers most evening shifts, and our Singapore office covers most night shifts.
Your key responsibilities
- Covering a full-time position as part of the shift schedule mentioned above
- Daily trading and optimization of trading positions
- Develop and help implement trading strategies
- Continuous risk evaluation of trader and algo positions
- Always question the status quo
- Share insights to optimize and rethink trading tools
Your qualifications and personal skills
- Have 1+ years of experience as an energy trader
- Driven by results and immediate feedback from colleagues and the market
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
- A positive and competitive person with grit, and at the same time, a great team player
