We are looking for a trader to join our ambitious US Power team. This is your opportunity to play a key role in a fast growing trading team in the dynamic and evolving US power market focusing on cutting edge technology, working alongside talented traders and quantitative analysts who share your drive for excellence and innovation.
The job as Trader
As a trader on our US Power team, you will play a key role in executing trades, monitoring market developments, and ensuring all operational aspects of our trading desk run smoothly. You’ll be expected to act on real-time data, contribute to strategy development, and continuously seek out profitable opportunities in the US power market. You will be expected to work closely with our quantitative analysts to build and refine the tools and models that support trading decisions. Strong collaboration across our team is essential for turning data into insight and strategy into action.
Your key responsibilities
- Execute trades in the US power markets, with a focus on short-term opportunities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of trading strategies
- Monitor real-time market data and make fast, informed decisions
- Work closely with other traders, analysts, and developers to optimize tools and insights
- Evaluate trading positions with a focus on risk management
- Challenge the status quo and help rethink strategy and execution approaches

Skills we believe are important for success
- 1+ years of experience in energy trading (power markets preferred)
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure
- Strong analytical skills, technical skills is a plus
- A collaborative mindset and positive, competitive energy
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
