We seek a person who is skilled in coordinating and managing high-volume cold chain shipment schedules in the EU and US. You will become an integral part of our Technical Development & Manufacturing team, which includes 9 individuals responsible for managing clinical trial and commercial supplies. You will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain & Sourcing, contributing to our dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments from Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) located in the EU and US
- Handle customs clearance processes efficiently
- Maintain and manage all shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Serve as the primary contact point for freight forwarders
- Validate shipping and transport methods, including cold chain logistics
- Support smaller shipments and supply chain tasks
- Plan and manage elements of the supply chain for smaller projects
Candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in international logistics coordination, including cold chain logistics
- Background in working with CMOs or pharmaceutical shipments
- Proficient in using ERP systems, particularly Dynamics 365
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Analytical skills for optimizing logistics processes
- Knowledge of compliance regulations like GDP
