Your Job:
As our new Category Supply Planner for Nestlé Professional, you will become part of the Nordic Demand & Supply Planning team. Based at Nestlé’s Nordic headquarters in Ørestad, Copenhagen, you will work closely with the team and report to one of our two Nordic Category Supply Chain Co-pilots. In essence, we – as a team – are responsible for securing correct supplies and demands of Nestlé products from factories to warehouses, to customers, and to end-consumers.
As a category, Nestlé Professional is our business-to-business (B2B) division of Nestlé that focuses on providing food and beverage solutions to foodservice operators in the out-of-home market, such as restaurants, cafes, and hotels.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Ensure the supply and availability of products to fulfill deliveries on time, at the correct location, and with the appropriate freshness, while minimizing Working Capital and Total Delivered Cost.
- Establish and periodically review stock policies for Finished Goods within your area of responsibility, utilizing the appropriate tools and processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Nordic Demand Planner responsible for Nestlé Professional to manage shared objectives, such as Customer Order Fulfilment (COF) and timely availability to seize commercial opportunities.
- Provide the Generating Demand team with insights regarding stock availability and any exceptions that may impact business performance.
- Take swift and appropriate actions to minimize the impact of supply risks, including shortages and excess stocks, and communicate these actions to the relevant stakeholders.
- Regularly assess opportunities for network optimization within the Nordics.
- Monitor and analyze Demand-Supply Planning (DSP) performance using suitable measures and tools.
- Contribute to Innovation and Renovation (I&R) projects by executing Supply Planning tasks with precision and clarity.
- Conduct Risk Assessments for new projects.

We are looking for:
To thrive in this role, you…
- Hold a relevant educational background within a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering).
- Ideally, a few years of experience with Supply Planning or Operations, maybe even from within the FMCG industry.
- Are fluent in English. A Nordic language on top of this is a plus!
- Are an experienced user of SAP APO and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Are adaptable, independent, and agile, with a strong focus on achieving results.
- Communicate effectively with diverse individuals and possess strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently and support multitasking activities while ensuring high quality and accuracy.
- Are a team player who demonstrates proactive collaboration.
