Student Worker - UX & Implementation in Healthcare
Put your design and tech skills to work where it truly matters – in healthcare. As a Student Worker, you will not just be sketching ideas – you will help create digital tools that keep hospitals running smoothly. This is your chance to join a team where design choices support real people, in real time, with real consequences!
The job
You will be working specifically on Columna Flow – a solution developed to manage patient flows and improve the working lives of hospital staff. The suite includes a range of intuitive programs that solve key challenges in hospital communication and logistics.
As a Student Worker in the Implementation/UX team for Columna Flow, you will help design and refine digital healthcare solutions that streamline hospital workflows and support healthcare staff in their day-to-day work.
You can look forward to a wide variety of tasks, including:
- creating illustrations of user interfaces
- designing digital content and graphic elements
- automating user scenarios through scripting
- documenting solutions
- supporting the team with various ad hoc tasks in your area of expertise
Working hours are 10-15 hours a week, but we are flexible in how your working hours are arranged in relation to your studies.
Who you will be working with
You will be part of the Columna Flow team, which consists of more than 40 dedicated colleagues. You will work especially closely with our UX Designer and Implementation Consultant.
We are serious about delivering high-quality solutions, but we also know the importance of a good laugh, a strong cup of coffee and creating a positive work atmosphere. You can expect a friendly and supportive environment where jokes and ideas flow freely.
What we are looking for
Ideally, you will be currently pursuing a Master’s degree in IT, Information Science, Digital Design or a related field and eager to apply your academic knowledge in a meaningful, real-world setting.
We are looking for someone who:
- has a strong interest in user experience (UX) and digital design
- is familiar with tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- has some experience with scripting languages and tools like Postman or Bruno for API testing
- is curious, proactive and ready to grow in a supportive team environment
