Student Assistant for the Vipps MobilePay Legal Team – Copenhagen Office

About the role
As our new Student Assistant, you will support the Legal Team and collaborate across our markets. Our Legal Team is a Nordic group of business-minded legal professionals located in Oslo, Copenhagen, and Helsinki. We support Vipps MobilePay’s business goals while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. We take pride in making things happen, taking responsibility, and supporting colleagues across the organization. Our work spans a wide range of legal areas including payment regulation, contract law, competition law, outsourcing, marketing law, AML, corporate law, and intellectual property rights.
Our team works across markets; however, this student position is in Copenhagen.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Drafting and updating templates and procedures
- Testing and training our internal AI-legal bot
- Support in implementing our new contract management system by working with Procurement colleagues,
- Supporting contract management and, depending on experience, contract drafting
- Assisting the experienced lawyers in the team on day-to-day tasks, projects, etc.
- Conducting legal research and supporting assessments of new legislation
In this role, you'll work part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week and we will arrange your work to accommodate your studies flexibly.
We aim to welcome a new law student as soon as possible, and hope to invite for interviews in the beginning of August.
- A student in the final year of your bachelor’s or early master’s studies in Law or Business Administration and Commercial Law. Being a student within these areas is a prerequisite for consideration.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to contribute to a diverse and fast-paced work environment
- A hands-on person who thrives with varied tasks and isn’t afraid to speak up
- Responsible, deadline-oriented, and committed to delivering quality
- Our company language is English, so you must be fluent in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in Danish (or Norwegian) is an advantage.
