Typical To-Do List
- Advise on contractual matters – general and project level
- Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost
- Undertaking internal valuations and production of cost reports
- Reporting on budgets and variations
- Negotiate and agree subcontractors
What We're Looking For:
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar
- 5 years relevant experience in construction or engineering industries
- Ability to meet demanding time and quality targets.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly present findings
- Highly computer literate, can pick up new systems with ease (we use COINS)
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
- Team player, adaptable & practical
- Strong attention to detail
Desirable but not Essential
- Electrical contracting experience
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or on data centre construction projects
