Role Overview: IMI’s Climate Control sector is looking for a Marketing Specialist to support our businesses in Denmark & Norway. This role involves developing and executing localised marketing plans to drive business growth, utilising a mix of online and offline tactics such as content adaptation, website management, social media, paid advertising, PR, trade marketing, and e-shop management.
The role reports to the Global Marketing Activation Manager, with a dotted line to the Heads of Sales for Denmark & Norway.
IMI’s Climate Control sector is dedicated to working with its customers to deliver indoor climate solutions. Together, we focus on maximising energy efficiency and control for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Our products and system knowledge can be applied to heating, cooling, and domestic hot water applications.
Work Environment: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence three days per week either at our Ballerup, Denmark, location or at our Ski, Norway location. Quarterly travel to our sales office is required, with travel expenses covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the Denmark & Norway websites with relevant content, oversee local social media channels, and create engaging content
- Lead digital ad placements, conduct SEO/SEA keyword research, and analyse performance
- Implement localised marketing automation journeys in Pardot, track key KPIs, and manage the marketing budget
- Organise customer events, trainings, webinars, and local exhibitions while fostering strong relationships with key customers to develop joint marketing plans
- Drive wholesaler communication and trade media initiatives, develop eCommerce marketing strategies with wholesaler eShops, and enhance brand awareness
- Support the local sales team by driving lead generation and customer education efforts
- Lead the local implementation of the new Pardot marketing automation platform
Critical Competencies for Success:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years in marketing campaigns and communications, ideally in field marketing within an international company
- Strong consultative marketing approach to collaborate effectively with sales teams and channel partners (wholesalers)
- Proven experience in trade marketing and e-commerce
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects independently while working as a team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in Danish or Norwegian (native) with a strong command of English (B2 level or higher)
- Experience with Pardot and Salesforce is highly preferred
- Willingness to travel to sales sites for customer visits and events as needed
