1. About the Role
Ready to transform how pricing is done in a global energy leader? As a Sales Tools & Systems Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of NOV’s commercial digital transformation — modernizing our pricing systems and shifting from legacy Excel tools to AI-enhanced, scalable platforms.
You’ll be both a Sales advocate and a technical bridge, ensuring that business needs are translated into efficient, transparent, and reliable pricing solutions that drive smarter decision-making and faster turnaround times.
This is a newly created role designed to accelerate innovation in NOV’s commercial function, with a particular focus on supporting the Commercial Operations and Sales Engagement. You’ll collaborate with a growing, globally distributed team, working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Projects, and IT to design and implement tools that improve accuracy, streamline workflows, and enhance customer responsiveness.

4. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve existing Excel/VBA-based pricing tools
- Drive the transition to modern, integrated pricing platforms (e.g., CPQ systems)
- Lead the integration of AI and data analytics into pricing processes
- Act as a liaison between Sales and departments like Engineering and Supply Chain
- Translate business needs into functional, digital system capabilities
- Document, train, and support users on new tools and processes
- Manage tool development timelines and ensure seamless implementation
- Uphold NOV’s compliance and corporate standards
5. Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or a related field
- High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong programming skills (Python, VBA, XML or similar)
- Proven experience with system integration and digital transformation
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and lead initiatives
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with AI/ML-enhanced tools and pricing platforms
- Background in implementing digital pricing or quoting solutions
- Prior experience working with CPQ tools, Oracle, or similar systems
- Stakeholder management experience in a global or technical organization
