Job Description:
Are you ready to take ownership of our IT Service Management platform and ensure it becomes a cornerstone for operational excellence? At Satair, we are on an exciting digital transformation journey, and we are looking for an experienced ITSM Application Owner to take the lead in our transformation from Cherwell to ServiceNow. This will give you the opportunity to take on a key role in a strategic initiative that will define how we operate, collaborate, and deliver IT services globally.
Following the successful implementation, you will be responsible for the platform's ongoing evolution, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of our business and support our future growth. You'll work closely with key stakeholders to identify new opportunities for leveraging ServiceNow, drive continuous improvement, and govern the platform's long-term roadmap. Your expertise will be vital in optimizing our IT services and unlocking the platform’s full potential.
What the job is
You will step into a central role within our newly established Process, Performance and Information Security Team. Your mission? To guide the architectural direction of our new ServiceNow platform, build governance frameworks, and ensure we unlock its full potential.
You’ll be our gatekeeper and guide in the migration from Cherwell to ServiceNow, making sure we not only migrate data and processes but also evolve the way we think about ITSM.
We are a mix of seasoned experts and new talent with deep domain knowledge—and now, we need your ServiceNow expertise to complete the team. We work closely with our Infrastructure and IT support teams, thrive on collaboration, shared learning, and a common goal: simplifying the complex while ensuring
security.
How you will contribute to the team
You will take ownership of the ServiceNow platform and drive our transition from Cherwell, ensuring the architecture and governance model support both operational needs and long-term strategic goals. You will play a key role in building and evolving our ITSM capabilities, aligning them with requirements, compliance obligations, and Airbus group standards.
Your role will include defining and managing the platform roadmap, ensuring scalable and secure integrations, and enabling agile service delivery across IT and related functions. You will also ensure that change management processes are clear, well-documented, and followed helping stakeholders across the business succeed in using the platform effectively.
You will work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure alignment and value creation. Through strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will enhance the maturity of our ITSM environment and strengthen our ability to deliver efficient, transparent, and compliant IT services.
Satair is part of a global organization, and we believe in smart re-use and collaboration across teams. You will actively contribute to this by building strong relationships—knowing when to bring in a solution that already exists elsewhere in the Airbus ecosystem, and when to tailor it to our specific context. Your ability to navigate across teams and build long-term trust is key to your success in this role.
Your profile
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, ideally with governance, administration, or platform ownership responsibilities.
Relevant ServiceNow certifications
Experience in ITSM, ITIL, and enterprise service management practices.
Solid understanding of platform governance, integrations, and vendor collaboration.
Previous involvement in migration from legacy platforms (e.g., Cherwell) to ServiceNow is a big plus.
Strong communication skills—you can explain complex solutions in clear, business relevant terms.
Structured and proactive approach with a service- and solution oriented mindset.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong team player
