Finance Business Partner to Ocean Procurement and Ocean Asset Partnerships
The Ocean Procurement and Ocean Asset Partnerships teams in Maersk are responsible for vendor selection, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and procurement within key spend categories across our Ocean business.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to the Ocean Procurement and Ocean Asset Partnerships teams in matters related to performance management, financial analysis, business planning, and cost management. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Head of Ocean Procurement and Head of Ocean Asset Partnerships, to deliver financial insights and ensure transparency on business performance and outlook.

Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and implement a metrics-driven performance management framework for Ocean Asset Partnerships.
- Set financial targets and ensure they are delivered by linking procurement initiatives to group financials.
- Drive monthly performance reviews with Ocean Procurement and Ocean Asset Partnership leaders, contributing financial insights and challenging assumptions to ensure clear alignment and informed decision-making.
- Partner with procurement category managers and provide insights on financial impact of sourcing initiatives.
- Drive a continuous cost improvement mindset and proactively identify opportunities to optimize costs by utilizing data-driven spend analysis for key commodities and suppliers in the Ocean business.
- Support Procure to Pay (P2P) initiatives to drive efficiency in business processes.
- Enhance financial data foundations by collaborating with Platform teams to enable required data visibility across the organization.
- Drive high levels of engagement with stakeholders across the Ocean business.
