What you will do
System Integration
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and architectural design
- Design, build, and integrate information systems that meet the company’s business objectives
- Assess the existing systems architecture and work closely with technical teams to recommend enhancements and improvements
- Ensure seamless data exchange between the POS, ERP, CRM and other relevant systems.
Technical Architecture
- Develop and maintain the overall architecture design and integration for retail systems, including POS, ERP and CRM, ensuring interoperability, data consistency, scalability, and flexibility
- Modify and enhance the technical architecture to accommodate integration requirements
- Address technical challenges during integration by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data synchronization, security, and performance.
Documentation
- Create comprehensive documentation for all integrations, including design specifications, data mapping, APIs, and configuration details
- Maintain up-to-date records of integration processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices
- Ensure that documentation is accessible to relevant teams and stakeholders.
What you bring
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of retail business processes, including POS, CRM, and ERP systems
- Experience with systems integration using APIs, message buses, ETL pipelines, and enterprise service buses would be an added advantage
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and hybrid integration scenarios
Personal competencies
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated, efficient, and proactive in identifying and addressing needs independently.
