At Trackunit, we believe people are the foundation of our success. We’re looking for a Team Lead, People Business Partnering to join us in shaping how we scale people impact across a fast-growing global organization.
This is a hybrid role – part senior People Business Partner, part people leader, and part architect of our People Partnering practice. You’ll lead and develop a motivated team of People Business Partners while also partnering directly with one of our business areas. You’ll advance scalable people practices, enable great leadership, and turn strategy into measurable business outcomes. If you're motivated by enabling others, translating strategy into action, and evolving people practices in a growing international environment – we’d be interested in hearing from you.
With locations in the hearts of Aarhus, Aalborg and Copenhagen, we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from one of these locations. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
What’s in it for you?
- We are a People & Talent team of 12 colleagues across Denmark, Canada, and Germany. The team spans four People Business Partners, Reward, People Operations, Organizational Development, and the canteen team in Aalborg, led by our CPO. Collaboration is at the heart of how we work: We spar, share perspectives, and lean into each other’s skills across roles and regions. With distinct specialties and a shared mindset, we come together as one team, more impactful together.
- A chance to lead a core capability in our People & Talent strategy: business partnering. You’ll help sharpen and evolve what great looks like, enhance our team of PBPs, and partner directly with leaders to impact people across the business.
- A place in an agile growth SaaS business, with possibilities to grow internally in the company. We are moving quickly, so fasten your seat belt and prepare to adjust. Back in 2020 we were 150 employees at Trackunit and we have just passed 450 employees.
- We take your personal and professional development goals seriously and we support them through training, coaching and mindfulness as well as with an open feedback culture to enable you to identify your strengths and opportunities. We do this by touching upon your impact on our triple focus: impacting yourself, impacting teams/relations and impacting the organisation/strategy.
- Flexibility and trust to work in ways that suit you best. Whether you work from home, the office, or a bit of both – we’ve got you covered with the IT equipment you need.
- Turning the Tide. At Trackunit, we aim to create and contribute to an inclusive workplace. And this priority starts with our hiring - we do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation, personal expression, ethnicity, religious belief, or disability status. We only assess candidates on their qualifications and merit. Learn more about TIDE and other DE&I initiatives here.
Who are you ideally?
You bring senior experience, strategic perspective, and a heart for elevating people practices – but more than that, you genuinely care about people. You don’t just do people leadership, you thrive in it. You find energy in developing others, creating clarity, and building trust.
You combine extensive business acumen with a deep belief in human potential, and you bring a professional presence into the room, whether you're coaching a team member, supporting a leader, or shaping strategy.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior People Business Partner role, including leading and building a PBP function in an international context – this is essential.
- Proficiency in mentoring and developing PBPs, optimizing partnership frameworks, and encouraging team alignment.
- Robust capabilities in enhancing organizational development, refining talent practices, strategic workforce planning, and empowering leaders.
- The ability to balance strategic design with operational execution – you’re as comfortable leading change as you are running a people process end-to-end.
- Experience working closely with executives and influencing across business areas.
- A global mindset, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and change with curiosity and clarity.
We value potential alongside experience. If you're motivated by the role and bring relevant leadership experience in people partnering, even if from a different industry, we encourage you to apply.

Our hiring process
Don't waste your time on writing the best possible cover letter for the job. We want you to create an impact that matters, and that's not in the cover letter.
- Virtual meet and greet. Meet with members of the team and the Chief People Officer.
- Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. Our Hogan assessment enables us to understand your abilities and how you align with our team culture. Instead of seeking 'appropriate' responses, the priority is to develop a meaningful exchange that illustrates your synergy with the Trackunit team.
- Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the concrete work tasks or projects related to the role. You will be given a case to prepare prior to the interview, and at the interview, you will present the case to relevant colleagues and the team from People & Talent, who you’ll also work closely with in the job.
- Offer presentation and walk-through. We’re lucky to have you!
The question is: Are you in?
