Here is what the job entails
As our new System Operations Engineer, you will become a key player in fulfilling system operation contracts ensuring the seamless operation of Kamstrup smart meter solutions. This includes managing our solutions and ensuring that we deliver data to our customers based on the contractual agreements. Moreover, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and IT hosting experts across Kamstrup to drive continuous improvement efforts. Together, you will be identifying optimization opportunities, updating our knowledge database, documenting standard operating procedures, and sharing insights.
More specifically, you will be:
- Securing contract fulfillment and delivery of the SLA
- Overseeing the operation of our systems and secure high customer satisfaction
- Onboarding customers in our solutions and services plus continuously introducing new features
- Troubleshooting and initiate improvement actions to optimize operations and service delivery
You will experience the freedom to take the lead in troubleshooting technical issues and experience how your efforts directly impact our customer satisfaction globally.

Reporting directly to our Senior Manager Customer Support & Services Delivery Water, you will be an integral part of our team of 6 dynamic colleagues In Kamstrup's Water Division. We strive to become a trusted partner for utilities by optimizing operations within the water distribution ecosystem and reducing water loss through innovative, high-quality metering solutions with seamless integration. As the voice of our customers, you will bridge Kamstrup and customers in delivering contractual services. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to implement process improvements and streamline operations, thereby ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Did you know? That the team oversee the support and operation of around 10 million smart meters and solutions worldwide, serving as the hub of the Kamstrup organization.
Less about us, more about you
We are looking for a System Operations Engineer with a proven track-record of handling complex deliveries to customers. You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, IT support, IT operations, or a related position - preferably within the energy or telecom industries.
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:
- Have proficiency with working with SLA’s and being in close contact with customers
- Have experience in one or more IT and data frameworks such as ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR, ISAE, or ITIL
- Posses a customer centric mindset with a structured and reliable approach to work
