ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced, confident and commercially-minded SEO Manager to contribute to the delivery of SEO strategy and performance for high-profile clients, helping to drive significant business results.
You will play a key strategic role in our SEO team, overseeing the implementation of technical, content, onsite and offsite optimisation work, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and managing client relationships across multiple regions (Nordics and EMEA).
You’ll be responsible for handing and contributing to SEO delivery for some of the team’s largest accounts. This includes implementation planning and ensuring that all work is aligned with agreed KPIs, objectives and budgets. You’ll act as a point of contact for clients, working to build trust and long-term relationships.
Your SEO work will span technical audits, platform optimisation, content strategy, authority building and backlink profile management. You will also be involved in AI-enhanced content development, prompt optimisation for LLMs and ensuring visibility within AI-powered search formats such as Google's Search Generative Experience, AIOs and AI Mode when it hits our shores.
You’ll collaborate closely with our sister agencies and other international offices to deliver coordinated SEO campaigns across regions. Additionally, you will support the wider Experience team and contribute to internal initiatives, operations and product innovation.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Delivery
- Take full accountability for your SEO deliverables and results across assigned clients
- Contribute to development and implementation of SEO strategies with support from the SEO Director
- Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, within budget and aligned with client objectives
- Demonstrate awareness of client budgets and hours used, managing accordingly
- Have touchpoints on the full cycle of SEO including keyword research, content strategy, technical SEO, link audits and reporting
- Help defining project scope and deliverables for retainers or campaigns
- Conduct performance analysis and recommend improvements to strategy and implementation
- Be well-versed in SEO toolset best practices to get the most out of vendor collaborations
Client Leadership and Communication
- Act as an SEO go-to for clients, building strong, consultative relationships
- Clearly articulate complex SEO information and translate it into actionable insights
- Present strategies and performance in client meetings and calls
- Lead performance reviews and training sessions as needed
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client relationships
- Escalate performance issues and highlight wins as they occur
AI & Search Innovation
- Apply experience with AI-enhanced content creation and LLM optimisation
- Ensure SEO strategies are prepared for evolving AI search formats (e.g., Google’s SGE, AI Overviews, AI Mode and other emerging platforms)
- Stay ahead of search engine changes and trends related to AI and large language models
- Educate internal and external stakeholders about developments in AI-driven search via workshops or presentations
Internal Collaboration and Cross-Channel Integration
- Work closely with teams across crafts, Content, CRO/UX, Analytics, Paid Search, Paid Social and Client Services
- Support collaboration between international offices and coordinate global/local SEO efforts
- Share best practice across internal teams
- Contribute to internal and external SEO education, with POVs and industry updates, case studies
Business Development
- Develop relationships across Mediabrands and partner agencies to identify business growth opportunities
- Support financial management including POs, invoicing and reconciliation
WHO YOU ARE
- Proven track record in delivering successful SEO campaigns and results
- Expert knowledge of SEO best practices across technical, content and backlink profile optimisation
- Comfortable conducting site-wide technical audits and platform analysis
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confident presenter with experience supporting or leading pitch work
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled communicator, able to simplify complex SEO concepts for different audiences
- Passionate about SEO and committed to staying current with industry developments
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 3+ years of experience in an SEO-focused role
- Experience with SEO tools
- Solid business writing skills and ability to create high-quality reports
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced agency or marketing environment
- Native fluency in Danish
- Written and spoken fluency in English
- Fluency in another Nordic language is a plus, but not essential
