Are you passionate about sustainability and ready to make a meaningful impact in creating a greener future? Join our team at Danfoss Drives! We are searching for a new Test Technician (m/f/d) in our test lab in Graasten.
In this role you will join a dynamic work environment and be an integral part of our UL/LVD test team, focusing on the qualification and validation of electrical components, frequency converters and associated systems in compliance with UL and LVD standards.
You'll play an important role in testing new designs for internal and external requirements, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct electrical testing on a variety of components using specialized equipment (partial discharge chambers, curve tracers, impedance analyzers etc.).
• Conduct environmental testing of components and frequency converters.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and datasheets to understand component specifications and testing procedures.
• Analyze test data and generate reports summarizing findings, including identifying failures.
• Maintain testing equipment e.g. calibration and service.
• Document test results and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in the development of new test methodologies and equipment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create effective test plans.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, among others, with DANAK and UL.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
• Educational background in Electronics either as an Engineer, Technician or similar
• Experience in testing of electronics as well as experience in a test laboratory environment
• Experience with power electronics and component characteristics.
• Familiarity with electrical test and measurement equipment such as the ones mentioned above.
• Knowledge of IEC/ISO 17025 standard.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling batches of tests.
• Competence in the field of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Measurement Uncertainty (MU)
• Fluent English communication skills. Danish and or German are a plus
