Experienced Test Engineer, Multi Domains Systems, Lystrup

Your role in our team

We are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer with a good understanding of software development as well as systems engineering and the verification and validation process to join the Multi Domain Systems Test Management department.

As a test engineer in the Test Management department in MDS (Multi Domain Systems) in Lystrup, you will collect and refine knowledge, plan for quality, and be an important sparring partner for colleagues in and outside your team.

You will be responsible for test activities, planning in the team, and taking part in activities to ensure project delivery.

You will, together with Test Management, contribute to maturation of methods, tools, and processes to ensure cohesive (and automated) testing practices, as well as supporting local team testers while taking part in testing activities to ensure project deliveries.

The Test Management department is located across our offices in Lystrup and Søborg.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities include:

• Plan and execute test activities to verify requirements and system changes
• Take responsibility for test planning and coordination
• Contribute to ensuring successful project delivery through structured testing
• Act as a key sparring partner for colleagues both within and outside the team

Bring your world class expertise into play

You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree within Engineering or a similar field of study
• Knowledge of software development and an understanding of the fundamentals of software testing and the concepts of system verification and validation
• Solid experience with testing activities in software teams, with an understanding of what to best test where and when – and how the tools can support this.
• Knowledge of testing with agile development methods with an understanding of the values created by Continuous Integration and -Delivery (CI/CD).
• Experience with risk-based testing and test design techniques
• Certification in software testing principles (ISTQB, TMAP, or similar)
• Ability to work in a complex, specialized environment
• Strong communication skills
