Senior Manager, Health & Safety
Are you ready to elevate your Change Management skills, and create real impact? We are seeking a motivated Health and Safety Senior Manager with an appetite to drive improvement, define and align strategic development and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the Danish Crown organization.
An overall vision has been defined to improve safety for workers at the production facilities, and you can be the person supporting this vision. Danish Crown Group QEHS are instrumental in defining policies, developing good practises and supporting the business as service partners with the aim of ensuring Danish Crown is complying to national legislation and customer and industry standards.
We are looking for a skilled new colleague with a health and safety toolbox, who can take lead in developing a Domain Health and Safety organization to support and development the health and safety performance at the Danish Crown production facilities creating a strong safety culture across countries and sites. The right person is excelling in stakeholder management, getting both management and specialist engaged and motivated for defining best practice and sharing learnings with the aim of working with improvement.

You will become part of the QEHS & Sustainability Domain in Randers, where you will meet highly committed and professional colleagues. 30 of us are placed at the headquarters in Randers supporting colleagues at production facilities in Germany, Poland, Netherlands, UK, Sweden and Denmark. You take ownership of the stakeholders in the organization
As the senior manager, you take ownership of the vision for improving safety for workers with focus on collaboration with Health and Safety business partners defined in the Danish Crown Business units. As a matrix organization the Health and Safety team supports the business partners in defining the areas for improvement aligning policies, procedures and best practice. Part of your role is to establish a small support team.
To succeed in the role, it is important that you possess a strategic mindset, are excellent at change management, brilliant in stakeholder management and can work on the long horizon. You communicate and drive changes on all levels of the organization, and you wish to develop your international/corporate mindset to be to be best-in-class.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute domain strategies for Health & Safety in Danish Crown
- Lead strategic improvement activities and define Danish Crown domain SOP
- Manage a Health & Safety committee with business partners from the organization
- Define maturity assessment model and execute / analyses
- Setup training programs for managers and the overall principle for training within the business unit organization
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts
- Reporting on performance internally in the organization and to executive management and board of directors
We are looking for someone with:
- English on high level in written and spoken
- Health & Safety knowledge and experience
- Strong cooperation skills
- Educational background could be both a technical or business, commercial
- Experience with setting strategic and execute implementation
- International experience and working in matrix organization
- A proven track record in people management, stakeholder engagement and developing a strong safety culture
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills.
As you will work with a wide range of internal stakeholders we expect you to communicate clearly and engaging in both Danish and English. You can expect 30 to 40 travel days, in the first year of employment.
