Quality Manager
Role Context:
Worley are currently bidding for a well-recognized Danish green hydrogen project (EPCM), this project is set to start in the south of Denmark and EPCm is estimated to run for 4 years. This project is part of a large European strategy and is important in Denmark's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and improve renewable energy. The project includes a greenfield large onshore pipeline and an existing methane pipeline. Please note this role is subject to project award on a contractual basis, which will commence in Q1 2026. For this project in particular we require individual that are already based in Denmark as no relocation assistance will be provided.
The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the lifecycle of the project. This includes developing and implementing a quality management system (QMS), overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes, and ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager will work closely with the project team, contractors, and suppliers to identify potential quality issues, develop corrective actions and foster a culture of continuous improvement. They will be responsible for conducting inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure that quality standards are met at every stage of the project.
You'll be:
Providing direct support to ensure that a Contract/Project Quality Management System (QMS) has been established, implemented and continually improved to meet Project Deliverables.
Pro-actively supports the Project Quality Manager/Project Manager and provides guidance to the Project Quality Team to achieve Project Quality deliverables
Mentoring and develops trainee Quality Engineers/Practitioners, providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Performs Project-specific Quality Management and Assurance activities as detailed in the Project Quality and Assurance Plan (and as directed/instructed by the Project Quality Manager/Project Manager).
Ensures Project compliance with ISO 9001 and the Pressure Equipment Regulations requirements.
You'll have:
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality control processes (e.g., ISO 9001, API standards)
Prior experience in conducting inspections, audits, and quality reviews
The ability to develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality plans and procedures
An in-depth understanding of quality control documentation, non-conformance reporting, and corrective actions
Familiarity with construction and engineering standards relevant to pipeline and infrastructure projects
Strong analytical skills to identify quality trends and develop strategies for continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills to ensure alignment on quality objectives across teams
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness
The ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve quality issues proactively
