Lowell Denmark IT is seeking a new Product Owner to lead the enhancement and ongoing modernization of our collection and data integration platforms.
As our new Product Owner, you will play an instrumental role in our IT transformation process. Working closely with business units, business architects, solution designers and developers, you will align solutions with the overall transition strategy and product vision.
This position will give you a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of Business and Technology, helping to turn business needs into valuable software solutions that create real day to day impact.
We support remote work, but you need to be based in Horsens for this role.
Since it is summer and time for summer vacations, we will start screening and interviewing in August.

About the job
As a Product Owner you will lead the daily work of 3 teams. IT architect-, IT Developer- and a Data Integration specialist team. You will together with the teams drive the product maturement process while bridging the product backlogs, new incoming business requirements and strategic projects.
The role is cross functional covering both business process insight and highly technical, why it will be a huge advantage to on one side understand code, architecture, data domains, technical implementation and on other side transactional banking, court processes, Backoffice and Call center functions.
You will report directly to Head IT Denmark and be part of the IT team.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Drive Business clarifications and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- In close collaboration with Head of IT Denmark to drive transformation in wider team.
- Manage the product backlog, including prioritization, estimation, and refinement.
- Prepare and lead meetings and workshops with stakeholders, documenting key outcomes.
- Develop roadmaps for the coming years covering both Collection and Data Integration, bridging commitments with the ambitions of the Business growth and IT transformation.
To make the grade, you'll have the following:
We seek an experienced and highly engaged Product owner thriving in the intersection of Business and Technology. You possess strong leadership & communication skills and with a highly analytical mindset you can manage and create transparency, create clear roadmaps and drive complexity at the same time.
The ideal candidate brings
- 3-5 years of working experience as a Product owner, Project Manager or Scrum master.
- Experience in leading, motivating and influence teams in agile principles and maintaining focus on development of high-quality output.
- Experience with analysis tools and techniques, including wireframes and business process modelling.
- Highly skilled in the use of Jira, Confluence and Excel.
- Experience in agile analysis techniques, defining and creating user stories, acceptance criteria and how to run and use them effectively to achieve expected sprint outcomes.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and development principles and CI/CD-workflows.
- Fluent in Danish and English, both orally and in writing, as well as profound communication skills across organizational levels and cultures.
