Role Overview: Product Manager – App & Web Solutions
We are looking for a visionary and execution focused Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of our digital applications across Nordic markets. This role is central to delivering seamless, engaging, and user-friendly experiences to our end users. You'll drive the product strategy together with key stakeholders and ensure delivery of customer-facing digital products that support our insurance offerings, with a focus on modular design, scalability, and localization across regions.
This is a high-impact role that combines product leadership, UX-first thinking, and cross-functional team management. You’ll work across borders and collaborate with international development teams, traveling approximately four times a year to our IT hubs in India, Germany, and the Baltics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Define and Deliver Digital Experiences
- Lead the design and development of scalable, multi-market customer-facing applications (app/web) for various insurance products.
- Define a product vision focused on ease-of-use, partner flexibility, and speed to market.
- Gather and align requirements from internal stakeholders, partners, and local market regulations.
2. Champion User Experience
- Collaborate closely with UX designers and researchers to deliver intuitive, consistent, and localized digital journeys.
- Use customer insights and behavioral data to continuously improve product usability and engagement.
3. Build and Scale Teams
- Build and manage cross-functional product development teams, including offshore collaboration.
- Establish delivery processes, agile rituals, and performance KPIs aligned with business goals.
- Ensure consistent team output, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
4. Drive Strategic Execution
- Partner with technical leads and backend teams to ensure scalable, secure, and performant architecture.
- Collaborate with compliance, infrastructure, and business units within the ERGO Group to align on standards and delivery goals.
- Translate long-term business goals into clear roadmaps and feature plans.
Required Skills & Experience
- Product Leadership: 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with customer-facing digital products across multiple markets.
- UX & Engagement: Strong understanding of user-centered design, usability, and engagement optimization.
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to structure, scale, and guide cross-functional product teams.
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with frontend/backend architecture, APIs, and app/web development frameworks.
- Strategic Thinking: Experience shaping product strategies and translating them into roadmaps and execution plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Comfort working with engineering, design, business, and compliance teams in agile environments.
- Communication: Strong communicator in English. Proficiency in Danish or Norwegian is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in regulated industries or with digital products rolled out across multiple countries.
- Familiarity with app/web personalization, integration layers, or real-time user interaction.
- Interest in leveraging AI/ML to enhance user journeys or streamline operations.
