BioSolutions Patent Attorney – Make a Difference with Us

Are you ready to bring your expertise to a meaningful role? We're looking for a new Patent Attorney to join our Planetary Health Biosolutions Intellectual Property Team , where we use innovative technologies to positively impact the health of our planet .
In this position, you’ll take responsibility for a key technology area and work closely with colleagues across Novonesis core R&D to develop and manage a patent portfolio that drives our mission forward .

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Take ownership of a te chnology area and collaborate across Novonesis to shape and implement an innovative patent strategy, ensuring a clear path to market .
Serve as a trusted advisor and champion for intellectual property, leveraging your scientific curiosity, strategic mindset, and business acumen to succeed .
Build trust with stakeholders, explore creative solutions, and take initiative to deliver exceptional results .
Use your deep understanding of science, technology, and business, along with outstanding communication skills, to position Novonesis for long-term success .
To succeed you must hold:
A strong scientific background, such as a PhD or MSc in a natural science field like molecular biology and e xperience with expression technologies (fungal and bacterial) and ho st cells would be highly valued .
A few years of experience as a patent attorney or trainee, including drafting, filing, and prosecuting cases.
You may have completed a trainee program and, ideally, have passed one or more of the EQE papers.
A collaborative spirit as a proven team player, combined with excellent communication, networking skills, and a proactive, motivated mindset .
Comfort in engaging with scientific stakeholders .
Proficiency in English, our corporate language .
