About our team
Nordea Investment Banking offers you the opportunity to join the leading Corporate Finance team in the Nordics. You will be part of the Corporate Finance team in Denmark and have a particular focus on M&A transactions within the small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) and growth segments, working with a broad range of clients across sectors. Our newly formed SME and growth team is experiencing high activity already and is looking to expand the team to continue the positive momentum in these segments.

Main responsibilities in this role:
- You will work alongside some of the most experienced investment bankers as an integral part of our deal teams that advise and execute important strategic transactions on behalf of our clients.
- We work closely with the owners, boards and management teams of our clients including family-owned businesses, publicly-listed companies, domestic and international corporates and private equity funds.
- You will also be working closely with your pan-Nordic colleagues from other teams within Investment Banking, gaining exposure to and valuable knowledge of other products including Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets and Equities.
Who you are
We are seeking entry level as well as more experienced candidates with up to 8 years of experience from Corporate Finance, Private Equity or Corporate Development / Strategy.
Your background and skills include:
- We are looking for ambitious and well-rounded candidates who possess excellent analytical and organisational capabilities as well as people skills, and with an academic background in Finance or Economics.
- In addition to your technical capabilities, you have commercial and strategic acumen, work in a structured manner and thrive in a busy, dynamic work environment.
- You are a team player and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a high degree of literacy in both Danish and English.
- As an entry-level candidate, you are likely in the final year of your Master’s studies or have recently graduated.
- Experienced candidates are expected to have relevant experience and a track record of deal execution, financial modelling, valuation and client management skills. In general, you will be able to take on responsibilities that align with your level of experience, allowing you to contribute effectively and grow within the team.
