About the Job
You will be responsible for structuring and securing funding for large-scale renewable energy development platforms and projects globally. You will play a pivotal role in shaping TEAL Renewables’ investment strategy, building relationships with global financial institutions, and ensuring the financial viability of our project portfolio, while actively driving deals forward. Your role is to lead capital raising efforts, structure investment deals, and collaborate across teams to ensure project bankability.
Your main responsibilities:
Deal Structuring & Execution- Structure complex development deals, including joint ventures, project finance, and public-private partnerships.
- Oversee financial modelling, risk analysis, and due diligence processes.
- Negotiate term sheets, shareholder agreements, and financing contracts.
Stakeholder Engagement- Cultivate and manage relationships with institutional investors, development banks, funds, and strategic partners.
- Represent TEAL Renewables at global investment forums and industry events.
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration- Collaborate closely with a high-performing investment and valuation team
- Collaborate closely with the development, legal, and engineering teams to ensure project bankability.
You can be situated in Denmark or Spain and work from our headquarters in Aalborg (DK) or alternatively from our office in Zaragoza (ES).

Preferably, we expect you to enrich our business with the following qualifications and skills:
At least 7–10 years of experience in development financing, project finance, investment banking, private equity, or a similar field.- Proven track record in closing renewable energy or infrastructure deals on a global scale.
- Strong financial modeling and negotiation skills.
- Strong network of global financial institutions and investment partners.
- Deep understanding of renewable energy markets, financial instruments, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Danish) are a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
- Experience working in multicultural and cross-border environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
