Are you someone who genuinely cares about making integrations easier, faster, and more sustainable across teams? Do you want to work with something that’s still forming, where your decisions will shape how things are done for years to come? Then keep reading.
We’re in the early phase of introducing a new integration platform at GlobalConnect – defining how it works, how it will be used, and how it fits into our IT landscape. That’s where this role comes in.
As Integration Platform Owner, you’ll take responsibility for the platform as a product. Your job is to make sure it’s reliable, understandable, and something developers across our Nordic teams want to use. The goal is simple: make integrations easier and more consistent so teams can connect systems without starting from scratch.
You’ll work with architects, developers, and colleagues across IT to define technical guidelines, establish governance, support onboarding, and ensure the platform is useful in practice.
This is a great moment to join. The platform is new, and the way of working is still being shaped. What you build now will influence how integrations are handled at GlobalConnect for years.
The role and why it matters
You’ll be the Integration Platform Owner. That means:
- You will be accountable for the Platform including the technical design and implementation, how the platform is used, including standards and usage patterns and governance – in particular to influence and drive adoption.
- You will also be responsible for related platform admin, security, compliance, lifecycle management, and related costs.
- This isn’t a technical architect or developer role. It’s about platform adoption, governance, and usability. Your job is to make the platform work across GlobalConnect in practice, not just in theory.
- You’ll work with development teams across different stacks, alongside architects and specialists, to align on shared ways of working and build trust in the platform.
- You’ll help us understand how the platform is being used and where it can be improved to better support the business.
What the work includes
- Own the Frends integration platform and API gateway
- Ensure the platform is production-ready during the implementation phase
- Lead governance by establishing collaborative ways of working, aligning teams, and defining shared standards
- Create and maintain documentation on APIs, logging, security, and naming
- Support developer onboarding so teams can adopt the platform in their existing workflows
- Build trust with developers by showing how the platform fits into their day-to-day work
- Monitor usage and adoption to understand what’s working and where to improve
What we think you’ve worked with before
- Experience working with an integration platform such as Frends, MuleSoft, WebMethods, or Azure Integration Services
- Previous responsibility as a system owner or similar role, ideally where governance and adoption were key parts of the work
- Experience working closely with developers, architects, and other IT colleagues
- Comfortable in an agile, evolving setup where ways of working are still being shaped
- Experience from the telecom domain and familiarity with industry frameworks such as TM Forum (TMF) or MEF standards is a plus
Who you are
You enjoy working across teams, are curious about how things work, and like finding better ways to solve problems.
- You’re used to influencing others, not just directing them
- You communicate clearly and adjust your approach depending on the audience
- You bring structure but are flexible when things change
- You understand the value of consistency and when it makes sense to deviate from it
You’ll be part of a small integration function within Group IT, based in Stockholm or Copenhagen. We work across systems, teams, and countries with a clear goal: make integration easier and more consistent across GlobalConnect.
You don’t need to submit a personal letter unless there’s something about your background you want to explain that isn’t clear from your CV or LinkedIn profile. We look forward to hearing from you.
