Data Platform Engineer

You will join a team of skilled engineers passionate about building robust data infrastructure. We foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and shared ownership. As a Data Platform Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain the foundational components of our cloud-based data platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
Our platform is built primarily on Azure and Snowflake, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and automation. You will work with tools like dbt, Airflow (Astronomer), Terraform, and GitHub Actions to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions. Python is our primary programming language, and we value clean, well-documented code.
You will play a key role in evaluating integration options, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring our platform meets the needs of diverse stakeholders—from data scientists to governance teams. Your ability to think holistically, communicate clearly, and collaborate across domains will be essential.

About You
We are looking for experienced professionals with a proven track record in building and maintaining cloud-native data platforms. You are comfortable working in agile environments and have a strong understanding of networking, security, and system integration.
- Has hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure and Snowflake are a plus)
- Is proficient in Python and container services
- Has experience with dbt, Airflow/Astronomer, Datadog, and DLT Hub (nice to have)
- Understands CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Bicep preferred)
- Can evaluate and implement system integrations with a focus on security and maintainability
- Understands enterprise networking and security (VNETs, firewalls, private endpoints)
- Is familiar with GitHub and GitHub workflows
