About the job
As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in helping customers in the marine industry find the right solutions from our comprehensive product and service portfolio. You will drive digital and analysis-based sales, by your digital mindset, you will deep dive into the figures to analyze the gabs and find potential for grow and you will collaborate closely with our Nordic marine sales team, key account managers, and technical support experts.

You will drive digital and analysis-based sales, by your digital mindset, you will deep dive into the figures to analyze the gabs and find potential for grow and you will collaborate closely with our Nordic marine sales team, key account managers, and technical support experts.
Responsibilities
With your ability to understand the customers and their specific needs, you will:
- Submit field service price lists/quotes to customers and follow-up.
- Provide reports and data uploads for frame agreements and contract management.
- Support the account manager with quote generation for frame agreements, large quotes and non-complex quotes.
- Work with the parts sales team to identify upselling opportunities from parts requests and convert these into actionable leads for the account manager.
- Register warranty claims within defined scopes.
- Participate in the improvement of the digital sales process to create better customer value and sales effectiveness.
- Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Products and services.
You will work in a dynamic, international environment with close collaboration with the sales and order department.
What we are looking for
You are commercially driven, curious about technology, and enjoy solving challenges for customers. Being confident working independently, you also thrive in team-based collaboration. You bring:
- A commercial mindset with good analytical and digital skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.
- Advanced in Excel.
- Experience in technical sales, customer service or similar functions (preferred).
- Fluency in English and one Scandinavian language.
