Global Demand Manager – lead data-driven demand planning network globally

In this role, you will lead the development of a global demand planning framework, build a new team, and redefine processes across sales regions and sales channels. You will play a key part in aligning sales expectations with demand and inventory aspirations with ECCO’s commercial ambitions in a complex yet sophisticated, international environment.
Drive global demand planning to the next level
Based at our HQ in Bredebro, you will join our Global Value Chain department of 45 colleagues, organised into several specialist teams. The department is highly international and diverse, with colleagues representing 12 different nationalities. Together, we ensure that our products arrive at the right place, at the right time and at the right price. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution to create smarter, data-driven processes that deliver measurable impact.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and implement a global demand planning framework and network across product categories and regions
- Integrate and deploy data science, forecasting algorithms, and advanced planning tools into core processes
- Align demand forecasts with inventory strategies to ensure availability while minimizing excess stock
- Provide input to the global S&OP process, fostering consensus between commercial and operational teams
- Build, coach and manage a central team while strengthening collaboration with regional markets
