We’re looking for a creative, data-driven Category Manager to shape the future of LEGO® in-store experiences – from Pick-a-Brick to the Minifigure Factory.
Join LEGO® Retail Experience & Marketing (REM), the global powerhouse bringing the LEGO® Brand to life through innovative shopper campaigns and retail experiences. In this pivotal role, you’ll use insights and analytics to develop and optimise experience-led product plans that drive discovery, engagement, and conversion – delivering the ultimate LEGO® experience across our branded sales channels.
We're pleased to share that we offer a hybrid working week arrangement called Best of Both , requiring 3 days in the office location (Billund) and 2 days from home.

Core Responsibilities
Be responsible for the Retail Experiences category (e.g. Pick-a-Brick, Minifigure Factory, and other in-store experiences) within the Licensing & Extended Line (LEL) portfolio, driving planning, reporting, and execution to fuel LEGO® Retail growth.
Optimise assortments balancing innovation, freshness, and demand planning to maximise availability and shopper impact.
Analyse performance data (Excel, Power BI) to identify growth drivers and drains, delivering actionable insights for in-year optimisation of categories and audiences.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Store Operations, Marketing, Product Development, Visual Merchandising, and Demand Planning to deliver seamless, high-quality retail experiences.
Provide shopper and category insights at macro and micro levels, reviewing market research and monitoring competition to uncover opportunities and inform decisions.
Contribute to critical initiatives (e.g. Mosaic Maker), representing category management in scaling and optimising new concepts and experiences.
Be a hands-on executor in a new and evolving space, taking initiative, navigating ambiguity, and building strong relationships across global teams to deliver impact.
Do you have what it takes
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights; proficient in Excel (lookups, pivots) and experienced with BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
Proven experience in category management, account management, portfolio/project management, within a Retail environment is a must.
Ability to navigate through ambiguity, able to take initiative, prioritise focus, and deliver results in evolving business areas.
Solution-driven, results-oriented approach with a track record of turning insights into actionable outcomes.
Effective influencer and collaborator with strong stakeholder management skills across diverse functions and priorities.
Experienced working in global, multicultural environments with the ability to foster positive relationships and team spirit.
