As part of our team of 12 skilled colleagues, you will play a key role in planning, operating, and developing strategic and operational performance reporting and follow-up for VERO MODA.
We have an operational focus, using our data and business understanding to drive initiatives and actions that lead to better earnings. We also focus on ensuring accurate data for our performance reporting and developing Business Intelligence and self-service tools. This allows us to present the business's performance accurately, focus on the right areas, and develop the appropriate action plans.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Controller, you will get a diverse and challenging job. Your primary focus will be on our retail business, and you will be a key player in ensuring continued growth in the years to come. Today VERO MODA has +500 stores across Europe, of which approximately 400 are our own.
More specifically the responsibilities and tasks include:
- Delivering analyses, presentations, budget and forecast models in close cooperation with the team and operational management.
- Driving the monthly performance review process with selected countries and providing financial sparring.
- Facilitating performance dialogues with management and stakeholders.
- Developing business cases for store expansion and calculating concepts for new initiatives.
- Gaining in-depth knowledge of our finance and BI systems and help increase their usage.
- Ensuring a correct data basis and optimal use of KPIs.
- Communicating complex analysis in a simple and easy-to-understand format.

YOUR PROFILE
You are an analytical, self-motivated, and a goal-oriented person with a strong understanding of data and a solid commercial mindset. You are passionate about solving complex challenges and take pride in delivering thorough analyses and reports that lead to clear recommendations. With a natural drive to challenge the status quo, you use your analytical mindset and curiosity to turn insights into real impactYou are a strong team player and are comfortable working at the interface between different departments and stakeholders. You are structured in your approach and thrive when working in a dynamic environment.
Moreover, we hope that you bring:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in economics and business administration or other relevant education
- Preferably 1–3 years of experience from a similar position, alternatively, relevant experience gained through a student job is also valued
- Solid business understanding and analytical skills
- Proficient English skills and preferably also Danish
- Superuser in MS Excel (Power BI, SQL, and data models is considered an advantage)
- Good knowledge of presentation tools
- Understanding of financial statements
