Your new team
As our new Sourcing & Procurement Manager you will be part of our EPC Sourcing & Procurement team, which is part of European Energy’s EPC department, and holds the overall responsibility of the design, planning, procurement, and management of our projects during the ready-to-build and construction phase. We work with professional suppliers, partners, and sub-contractors for the completion of our sites.

Your new role
The Sourcing & Procurement Manager will be a key driver in our global supply chain organization, the Sourcing & Procurement Manager will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks across international markets. You will manage a multi-category portfolio and work together with cross-functional teams to achieve cost efficiency, delivery, quality and sustainability goals aligned with our global business strategy. This is a high impact team contributor role requiring deep expertise and proactive execution
Areas of Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier performance across key spend areas (e.g., materials, CAPEX, IT, services)
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies; lead end-to-end procurement for high-value, agile projects.
- Negotiate supplier contracts with a focus on cost savings, risk mitigation, and performance guarantees.
- Manage global supplier relationships, drive performance reviews, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Ensure operational excellence across the procurement lifecycle, from requisition to PO processing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Finance, and Legal on sourcing and contract alignment.
- Monitor market trends and continuously improve sourcing processes.
- Utilize and optimize procurement technology(e.g., ERP/Business Central, Deepstream, PLC) for efficient procurement processes and data management.
Job prerequisites
- Bachelor's/master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination roles incl. relevant ERP software, preferably Business Central.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and contract management.
- Chinese language skills would be a plus.

You work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, and you are committed to delivering high quality while you keep and maintain the overview to meet deadlines. You are a dedicated team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
