In Procurement Insights, we provide our stakeholders with the data, analysis, and support they need to continually deliver excellent procurement projects.
Future tasks
As our new Student Assistant, your main tasks will be:
- Providing procurement colleagues with various data, insights, and tool & application support for procurement projects and activities at various stages (tendering, contract negotiations, etc.)
- Supporting various analytics projects, e.g., market, commodity & fundamental analysis, CO2 emissions analysis, forecasting, cost-breakdown & should-cost analysis, etc.
- Supporting the development and execution of our Responsible Procurement Program, by tracking & evaluating performance of our suppliers, and more
- Contributing to the continued development of relevant PowerBI reports, new analytical concepts, modelling, and systems to provide insights on market and spend development
- Supporting the development of Global Procurement’s future analytics agenda to make sure we get the most out of the data and technology already at hand, as well as making sure that we stay on top of future analytics trends
Who are we looking for?
We imagine our new Student Assistant to be either a bachelor or master student with a strong interest in data, analytics & sustainability. We expect you to be constantly curious to new challenges, tasks and technology.
To succeed, you need to collaborate well across multiple functions and have good communication skills (visual, verbal and written). Furthermore, we expect you to:
- Have good analytical skills and take a critical approach to the data and problems you work with
- Find pragmatic solutions by applying methods and theory with an understanding of business needs
- Experiment and not be afraid of failing while trying new things
- Be able to use your analytical mindset to translate complexity into simple concepts, and communicate clearly and concisely
- Be fluent in English, written and verbal (Danish is not a requirement)

We offer you a position with a wide range of tasks, educating you within data, analytics & procurement. You will be part of a dynamic and international network of skilled analytics & procurement professionals working closely together in a variety of functions and across departments within Ambu in a non-bureaucratic and informal work setting.
We very much want to contribute to your knowledge and education within this area. We find it interesting and valuable to collaborate on different projects, thesis writing, etc.
We expect a workload around 15 hours a week and are flexible about your work time, especially during exams.
