Project Procurement Manager
Role Context:
Worley are currently bidding for a well-recognized Danish green hydrogen project (EPCM), this project is set to start in the south of Denmark and EPCM is estimated to run for 4 years. This project is part of a large European strategy and is important in Denmark's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and improve renewable energy. The project includes a greenfield large onshore pipeline and an existing methane pipeline. Please note this role is subject to project award on a contractual basis, which will commence in Q1 2026. For this project in particular we require individual that are already based in Denmark as no relocation assistance will be provided.
The role of the Project Procurement Manager is to ensure implementation of agreed Supply Chain (Procurement & Contracts) procedures, processes, systems and tools for successful delivery of the Supply Chain scope on the project. You will lead a team of buyers, expeditors, material specialist and contracts specialist assigned to ensure delivery of materials, supplies, equipment and services to meet project requirements within budget and on schedule.
You’ll Be:
· Managing a group of buyers or may act as a lead on a major project.
· Purchasing a wide diversity of material and equipment on a competitive basis as required by project or Company needs.
· Leading the project purchasing team including negotiation leading.
· Performing all Procurement duties for nominated purchase packages including formation and administration of the purchase order through bidder prequalification, Procurement Plan issue, RFQ issue, tender evaluation, award and recommendation, and monitoring of performance of suppliers.
· Guided by functional practices, management precedents, and professional standards.
· Making independent decisions and setting priorities related to complex situations.
· Reviewing work to ensure conformity with policy and for coordination of other company departments.
You’ll Have:
· Qualifications University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
· Vast amount of professional experience including supervisory and/or technical experience.
· Ability to recognize and resolve conflict.
· Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.
· Experience in Management roles within procurement
