The global Maersk Logistics & Services Product organization is responsible for leading Maersk into the next chapter of becoming a true integrator of end-to-end logistics through designing and launching products and services (solutions) with the customer at the centre. Within the Lead Logistics, Managed-by-Maersk, Product organization we are looking for a Global Product Development Specialist for the Integrated Supply Chain Engine (ISCE) product team. The ISCE product is the visibility and intelligence layer that powers the integrator flywheel of visibility, recommendation, action.
The purpose of the Global Product Development Specialist role is to:
- Launch new products into the markets and monitor their performance.
- Grow and expand the penetration of the new capabilities into the global regions and verticals.
- Collect market feedback and intelligence to improve product design.
- Drive a strong product brand in the market and internally within the sales organization.
Key responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the Global Product Development Specialist are:
Product Launch and Performance Monitoring
- Track and manage comprehensive product launch plans, ensuring all aspects of the launch are closely managed.
- Monitor initial product performance, gather and analyze customer feedback, and implement changes to optimize product.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Growth and Market Expansion
- Identify and implement strategic growth opportunities and initiatives to drive product adoption and market penetration.
- Collaborate with regional teams and other product teams outside Lead Logistics, to develop a robust pipeline and convert high-potential deals.
- Drive “self service” model across the regions to ensure product can be sold at scale by regional and area teams with CEN support.
Customer Relationship Management
- For key accounts, drive customer renewals and support new customer opportunities, ensuring sustained growth and satisfaction.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to enhance product offerings and address unmet needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Product Optimization and Performance
- Monitor product performance and implement continuous improvements to enhance value and competitiveness.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact.
Brand Management
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure consistent and impactful branding.

- P&L performance reporting capabilities.
- Project Management methodologies.
- Technology skills and interest in innovative developments (AI, ML, etc).
- Advanced MS Office skills.
Relevant experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in the logistic and transportation domain.
- Experience in product management, marketing, and sales activities.
- Experience with innovative products, new launches, and growing products is an advantage.
- Experience with cross functional setups and international broad geographical scopes.
- Project and product management within the logistics industry.
Personal characteristics:
- Resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and confidence to seek knowledge from stakeholders across a broad international organization.
- Pragmatic and solution oriented, able to think innovatively to solve problems.
