The Role and Department

The Genmab Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) department is expanding to support our robust pipeline and is currently seeking an Associate Director, Development Program Management (DPM). The preferred candidate possesses a strong working knowledge of the clinical/drug development process and a solid technical Project Management skillset with experience managing early and/or late-stage projects.

The DPM will work collaboratively with a Compound Development Team Leader (CDTL) and cross-functionally within the Compound Development Team (CDT) to maximize productivity for assets in early and late-stage clinical development, including projects with external partners. The DPM will also work to build drug development program management capabilities and core competencies in the PPM group. This position is accountable to DPM leadership.

Key responsibilities include

• Plan and organize global CDT and partner meetings including preparation of the necessary materials (presentations, agendas, minutes, actions, and decisions from meetings) in collaboration with the CDTL
• Draft project documents 
• Consolidate and organize cross-functional content for project presentations
• Attend project meetings (internal and external) as defined by the CDTL and needs of program
• Work with the CDTL to ensure completion of cross-functional deliverables
• Prepare monthly reports, metrics, and study progress communication

Planning

• Maintain project plans and deliverables in project planning tool in cooperation with CDTL
• Maintain follow-up system for action items, deliverables, and risk management
• Support development and maintenance of Product Development Plan
• Coordinate and plan for Governance reviews with the CDT
• Plan and organize other project events such as information meetings, international meetings, or team events

Communication

• Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders and CDT representatives
• Assist the CDTL with coordination of communication and developing defined ways of working with external partners as required
• Maintain a project team shared site for communication purposes and archiving of project management documents
• Introduce new project team members and relevant stakeholders to the project and program management methodology

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with basic knowledge of Oncology and overall clinical/drug development processes. Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum 8-years’ experience in the pharma/biotech industry is required
• At least 3 years’ experience with project planning of product development projects
• Fluency in written and oral English
• Proficiency in project planning tools (MS project; Planisware preferred)

The role is located in Princeton, NJ, Copenhagen, DK or Utrecht, NL and is a hybrid role.
