About the Job
As a Senior Financial Controller, you will report to the CFO and take primary responsibility for ensuring the finance and accounting functions run smoothly. This hands-on role offers significant opportunities to grow and expand your scope, covering a wide range of financial tasks:
Manage invoicing processes using Corpay.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records, reporting to stakeholders.
Act as the primary contact for outsourced bookkeeping and auditing teams.
Handle customs, VAT, tax, and customs reporting where applicable.
Oversee liquidity and maintain strong banking relationships.
Keep regulatory files updated for our legal company structure.
Support market and product expansion from a finance perspective.
Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management, including derivatives, liquidity, market, and currency risks.
Analyze new markets, products or business cases.
Process payroll on a monthly basis.
We do not expect you to be familiar with all of the above tasks, but it is important that you are open and willing to learn and take on new challenges. We will give you the needed support to grow in the role.
About You
3+ years of experience as an accountant or financial controller, ideally in the financial industry, trading houses, hedge funds, or corporate treasury.
Familiarity with tools like Corpay, Economic, or Zenegy.
Knowledge of financial regulations is a plus.
Fluent in Danish and English.
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable tackling diverse tasks.
