We have a good number of colleagues working alongside our customers on some of Denmark’s most prestigious projects in construction. And we are proud to have contributed to projects like Ny Bispebjerg Hospital or The Valley Campus. Your key activities will be:

- Detailed design of structural details, as well as plans, sections, technical specifications, etc.
- Build and maintain good relationships supporting collaboration between project parties.
As a Certified structural engineer at COWI, you will be part of our Certified Structural Engineers Board (Statikerrådet), consisting of 14 certified structural engineers across Denmark. As a member of this board, you will regularly participate in our quarterly collaborative meetings, providing an opportunity to engage and share experiences with other certified engineers when needed.
Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
On top of that, you will have:
- A certificate, showing that you are a certified structural engineer for construction class KK2, KK3/KK4 or third-party control (in accordance with the Danish Building Regulation and "Bekendtgørelse om certificeringsordninger for dokumentation af tekniske forhold i bygningsreglementet, BEK nr 1693 af 12/12/2023)"
- A degree in structural engineering
- In-depth knowledge of the full design of building structures, including foundations for building structures
- Experience in the design, specification, monitoring, and supervision of construction projects
- Broad experience in designing building structures and preparation of structural documentation according to SBi-anvisning 271 and BR18 (the Danish Building Regulations)
- In-depth knowledge of current legislation, as well as experience in preparing tender documentation, technical documentation, and technical specifications
- Solid communication skills in Danish, both orally and verbally as well as proficiency in English.
If you currently hold a KK2 certification or KK3/4, we would be committed to helping you obtain certification for the higher certification classes.
