Steen & Strøm in Denmark is looking for a Treasury Specialist to join the Finance / Accounting team, located at our corporate office in Copenhagen.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your perimeter of responsibilities will include:
Main Tasks:
- Liquidity management across all entities
- Managing external financing and loans, including covenants
- Cash management and optimization of the current cash pool structure
- Cash pool management and reconciliations across the group
- Responsible for accurate data management in Titan
- Point of contact for KLEPIERRE Treasury
- F/X management and reconciliations
- Handling SWAPS and other derivatives, including reporting to KLEPIERRE
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting on FX, interest, and liquidity
- Ensuring compliance with loan covenants
Day-to-Day Work:
- Maintain and reconcile loans and interest for external financing
- Handle derivatives, ensuring accurate presentation and accounting
- Act as the go-to person for KLEPIERRE Treasury and internal teams
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team, especially during quarterly and year-end closings
- Manage all FX-related topics within loan agreements and reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal and external financial and loan requirements
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
You have a higher degree (Bachelor or Master) within finance, accounting, or treasury management, with practical experience in treasury departments, preferably within real estate or asset-driven industries.
You are recognized for your structured mindset, reliability, and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex treasury processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions. You are a proactive problem-solver, able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
In particular:
- Solid experience with treasury, cash pool management, and liquidity management
- Good knowledge of derivatives (SWAPS, etc.) and related reporting
- Strong understanding of external financing and loan agreements, including covenant compliance
- Highly proficient in Excel, SAP, and other treasury/accounting tools
- Fluent in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Accurate, well-organized, and team-oriented
- Service-minded and proactive in managing cross-functional processes
