We are looking for a skilled and experienced Technical Delivery Director with a strong background in the software services industry to join our team in either Copenhagen or Malmö.
The role involves leading complex transformation initiatives and projects for a key regional client. You will manage multiple workstreams while ensuring effective collaboration between local and global teams. Serving as the main point of accountability, you will oversee program delivery, uphold client satisfaction, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities, deadlines, and budgetary constraints. You will work alongside award-winning design, development, and technology experts, fostering innovation and cultivating strong business and technology partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full delivery lifecycle of a significant program for a pharmaceutical client
- Manage client relationships and expectations, representing delivery efforts at the governance level
- Coordinate multiple workstreams to achieve success in areas like finance, sourcing, implementation, and business outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, engineers, and QA specialists, to create estimates, delivery schedules, and retrospectives
- Identify and address potential risks, escalating critical issues when necessary
- Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for growth with both current and prospective clients
- Engage in pre-sales activities, such as preparing proposals, defining implementation strategies, and presenting delivery frameworks and solution architectures
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with in-depth knowledge of business models, particularly in Development and R&D
- Familiarity with cloud and data platforms like Databricks, Data Mesh, AI/ML, AI Strategy, and Snowflake, with a focus on Life Sciences applications
- Strong expertise in AI/ML solutions and their applications within Life Sciences
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects, manage stakeholders at various levels, and lead successful IT services engagements
- Proven track record of building strong client relationships and collaborating effectively within diverse and distributed teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and planning abilities
- Strong organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery methods for creating scalable and modern solutions
- Hands-on experience with software engineering practices, enabling you to guide technical decisions and ensure efficient delivery processes
- Extensive background in delivering data-focused projects, with a robust understanding of data management concepts like governance, quality, integration, and lifecycle management
- Proven ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage distributed delivery teams across client and EPAM
