The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Work Student to join our Global Payroll Ops.– team in Denmark! Global Payroll Operations is responsible for the accurate and timely salary processing for 2,400 employees, employed in 6 different entities, working in 14 countries on 3 continents. In this role, you will assist with various payroll and payroll accounting-related tasks, projects and more over different geographies. This is an excellent opportunity for you as a student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, fiscal economics, business administration, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and international work environment!
Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Assist with the preparation of the payroll for our DK employees, by collecting, for example, the data in an overview or supporting with reviewing an specific item in the payroll.
- Payroll Accounting: as the journals needs to be booked, preparing journals for review will help the team with a speedy and accurate processing.
- Employee Support: support our employees with payroll-related inquiries such as granting them access to the Payroll portal.
- Global Payroll Ops. support: the different geographies can use different types of support, such as administration of the AMEX in the US, access to Cobra in NL as well as recording our processes and procedures in SAP or updating our Everyday pages.
Requirements
- Education: Currently enrolled in Copenhagen in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Fiscal Economics or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge about AI is a pre.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Languages: fluency in English, both written and spoken. Other languages are a pre.
- Experience: Previous experience in payroll, HR, or a related field is a plus but not required.
