Then you might be the new student assistant for the Safety Team at Metroselskabet.
Metroselskabet is looking for a student assistant for the Engineering (ENG) department. You will join the Safety Team that manages technical and functional railway safety for Copenhagen metro.
Your role will primarily be to assist with maintaining and updating hazard logs for Metroselskabet's large infrastructure projects.
The safety team mainly works with regulations and standards issued by the Danish Civil Aviation and Railway Authority, in addition we work with EN5012X and CSM-RA.
Your key tasks
- Processing new and historical hazard log data from Metroselskabet’s projects
- Preparation of user guides for IBM DOORS and StandardFusion
- Internal support in connection with IBM DOORS and StandardFusion, i.e. assisting MS colleagues in data retrieval
- Preparation of catalogue for historic safety documentation
- Training our language model MetroGPT in railway safety
- Ad hoc tasks
Metroselskabet use IBM DOORS and StandardFusion commercial software for hazard management, it is not a requirement to have experience with these or similar risk management tools.
About you
- You are a student at BA level and have at least two years left of your studies
- You have a keen interest in risk analysis and risk management as well as railway safety and regulatory processing
- You are good at working with data and are interested in working with technical subjects
- You are proficient in English
- You work independently and committed

You will be part of the Engineering unit, which is responsible for Design, Architecture, Operational Safety and QA & Compliance. The unit has 35+ committed and skilled employees.
