Do you want to work with insurance IT in an exciting transformation?
As a Solution Architect, you are a bridge-builder and a change agent. You transform complex business needs into simple, elegant solutions that create real value for people – our customers, colleagues, and partners. You see technology not just as systems and integrations, but as an enabler of better experiences, smarter decisions, and meaningful change. With your curiosity, empathy, and technical expertise, you inspire new ways of thinking and drive transformation that truly makes a difference.
About the role
Over the past years we have transformed our core policy systems into the standard policy management system – Guidewire. The journey continues and now we head into the next exciting phase where we transform from program to our future scaled agile model – The Guidewire DK Tribe.
As a Solution Architect you will in close collaboration with the Tribe Lead Architect lead the tech direction of the Guidewire platform including all the internal and external integrations to and from the platform. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and implementing the overall engineering practices of how to implement new functionality on the Guidewire platform – from business need to working code
- Maintaining and implementing non-functional requirements to the system. This also includes defining and implementing technical roadmaps to support the strategic journey of the business and handle technical debt.
- Bridging knowledge and act as a change agent towards the tech community in the Tribe
- Leading a tech team of senior developers (HR responsibility is a possibility if it has interest)
- Dialogue with HR managers on skill and competence development of developers
The tech stack consists of: GOSU (Java based language, back-end), React (front-end), REST API’s, Kubernetes/Docker on AWS, GUnit (test). Besides this we have multiple secondary applications build in Java on our Kubernetes/Docker platform.
