Indirect Materials & Services Procurement Organization spans across multiple areas of spends, covering all ELT areas. The organization is responsible for procuring facilities, IT/Digital, professional services, travel, distribution and logistics.
This is a strategic activity in our company to keep up with growth in the years to come – managing a large, complex global spend area. The Construction team is deeply engaged in formulating strategies for manufacturing locations globally. This role also has a large opportunity to contribute to company’s sustainability ambition.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with a global team to create and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze lessons learned and trending data to drive ongoing improvements in strategy and execution, ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry standards.
- Contract Management Expertise: Leverage your high-level expertise in contract management and tendering processes to optimize our procurement operations.
- Future Roadmap Co-Creation: Work closely with the Operations Team to co-develop a forward-thinking construction roadmap and strategy that meets our evolving needs.
- Long-Term Sourcing Strategies: Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with market insights, stakeholder requirements, and value-add potential.
- Supplier Base Development: Build and maintain a global supplier base through effective contracting, negotiations, relationship management, risk management, and performance evaluation.
- Innovation and Productivity: Engage with suppliers to tap into their expertise for innovation and productivity improvements, fostering deep executive relationships.
- Risk Management: Proactively manage supply-base risks and establish strong business continuity and resiliency plans to minimize disruptions to our projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Influence and nurture strong relationships with key senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Drive the company’s sustainability ambitions by partnering with our global supply base and influencing sustainable practices.
- KPI Performance Management: Secure and monitor supplier KPI performance, ensuring we meet our strategic objectives.
- Sourcing Execution: Ensure flawless execution of sourcing events delivering results that exceed expectations.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Construction or other related field
- Min 5 years of regional/global construction Experience
- Min 5 experience in Procurement in a multi-national company
- Familiar with FIDIC and AB construction contract models
- Transformation experience
- Experience in working across multiple functions and matrixed organizations
- English Fluent Level
