Senior Audio Visual Engineer
Business Technology & Digital Solutions is a fast-growing organization leading digital transformation at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies. This team is responsible for designing, monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting End-User Computing systems, meeting rooms, local and global town halls, digital signage, and auditoriums. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, service-oriented, and skilled Audio-Visual (AV) Engineer to oversee all meeting rooms globally. The role involves managing the design, lifecycle, and operational support of meeting spaces to ensure seamless AV performance. The employee will also support town halls and develop a comprehensive knowledge base for the service desk to enhance support efficiency.
As the Senior Audio Visual Engineer, you will work alongside highly dedicated and skilled colleagues worldwide, collectively ensuring stable, efficient, and compliant IT solutions. The Global Desktop Engineering team is part of the Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) department.
This key position provides technical guidance and expertise, diagnosing and resolving complex issues across a broad range of AV technologies. It entails analyzing inquiries, identifying suitable technical solutions, and serving as the primary escalation point within the organization.
A significant aspect of this role is training and mentoring the Global Service Desk team, sharing knowledge, and developing troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities include leading the creation and maintenance of the organization’s knowledge base and developing end-user support and training documentation.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Technical Guidance and Issue Resolution: As the primary point of escalation within the organization, the Senior Audio-Visual Engineering is responsible for monitor, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across a diverse range of technologies. (40%)
- Training and Mentoring: This role is responsible for collaborate with global teams to ensure AV solutions meet organizational needs including training and mentoring Global ServiceDesk by imparting essential technical knowledge and skills, empowering them to effectively address and resolve technical issues independently. - Knowledge Base Management: The Senior Audio-Visual Engineering is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Global Desktop Engineers 's knowledge base. This includes documenting solutions to common issues, establishing best practices, and developing end-user support and training materials. (10%)
- Project Execution and Quality Assurance: They are responsible for participating in projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and meet the organization's quality standards. (10%)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Audio-Visual, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years in a highly regulated environment
- Proven experience of managing AV systems in a corporate environment
- Experience and understanding of ITIL processes is required
- Proven experience of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016-2019, Office 365, Teams, and cloud-based phone systems with strong administrative knowledge.
- Proven experience of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices to facilitate effective IT service delivery
- Experience working closely with end-users to manage issues and requests, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction

Additionally, the candidate will participate in project execution, quality assurance, and support process administration. They will oversee asset management for meeting rooms and document all relevant procedures and processes.
