- You will be involved in analytical method development for our new chemical entries.
- You will take part in the support to our chemical production e.g. by in-process control analysis and you will perform QC tasks when working with release analysis of starting materials, intermediates, and raw materials.
- You will also contribute to other tasks such as qualification of equipment, writing Standard Operating Procedures, working instructions, analytical procedures, documenting deviations as well as development and maintenance of other systems.
- You will collaborate with highly skilled technicians working with a large range of different analytical techniques (UHPLC; HPLC, GC, KF etc.).
- Participate in cross-organizational teams and project activities.
- Analytical Development (AD) is part of the Chemical & Pharmaceutical Development (C&PD) organization. C&PD is a division responsible for the CMC development and innovation within new drug candidates based on chemically synthesized molecules.
- The department consists of 24 people equally divided between technicians and scientists.
- The department has facilities in Valby and in Lumsås where we have this open job opportunity.
- In Lumsås we are a team of two analytical chemists and two analytical technicians. As our new colleague, you will fill one of the positions as analytical chemist.
- The main responsibility of AD, Lumsås is to give analytical support to the manufacture of Lundbeck’s pipeline of small molecule API’s for use in clinical trials etc.
Our preferred candidate has the following personal and professional qualifications:
- MSc within chemistry, pharmaceutical science, engineering, or another relevant scientific background.
- Scientific skills in analytical development within small molecules and general knowledge of organic chemistry.
- Experience with UHPLC, HPLC, GC or other relevant analytical techniques.
- Preferably, practical experience working under GMP or similar quality systems, and the ability to work in a structured way.
- A motivated approach and a collaborative attitude, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Danish and English.
