Project Statistician, Global Clinical Development

Your new role
This position offers the opportunity of being Project Statistician for a clinical project in phase II. Through this role you will be exposed to tasks of high complexity and be involved in the design of clinical development program and clinical studies, including evaluation of adaptive elements, planning, conduct and coordination of statistical activities. You will also be part of the interpretation and discussion of clinical study results. Other activities involve statistical input to regulatory strategies and filing activities, summary documents, and being the statistical expert in interactions with external collaborators and regulators.
In our Focused Innovator Strategy there’s an increased focus on rare diseases within Neuroscience. Therefore, there is a great organizational need for exploring adaptive designs and Bayesian statistics as a vehicle for accelerating our development projects, and we need your help on this exciting journey. You will collaborate with highly skilled colleagues from Biostatistics, Clinical Development, Regulatory Strategy, and several other business areas to ensure that we bring the right treatments forward to people with a high unmet medical need.
You will also have the opportunity of being a member of our statistical specialist review group providing expert input across projects on clinical development plans, clinical trial designs and statistical analysis plans.
Your future team
Biostatistics is part of Global Clinical Development, and our office is in Valby, Copenhagen, Denmark and you will join a team of 17 Biostatisticians organized within the Biometrics organization including also Data Management, Statistical Programming, Data Science and Digital Solutions.

What you bring to the team
MSc or PhD degree in Statistics/Mathematical Sciences or similar discipline
Extensive experience working as a biostatistician in a pharmaceutical setting
Experience with designing adaptive clinical trials is preferred
Familiarity with Bayesian statistics and clinical trial simulations is preferred
Strategic thinking and experience driving project deliverables
Experience with drug development within rare diseases or Neuroscience is an advantage
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Fluent in English, written and oral
