SOUNDBOKS is an innovative tech company and aspiring lifestyle brand. You may have seen us at a music festival, street party, or at your friend’s celebration (think: private events combining festival-grade sound with beat-enhancing lights). We create the loudest, most durable, and arguably coolest Bluetooth speakers and audio-reactive lights on the market.

We’re talking real-time, on-the-job learning, and our ultimate goal is that you leave the office every day having learned something new.
With 80 team members in Denmark and the United States, SOUNDBOKS is a mix of seasoned professionals and passionate unconventionals. We’ve got an amazing thing going, and it’s only getting better!
ROLE PRODUCT QUALITY LEAD
TEAM QUALITY
HOURS FULL TIME
LOCATION COPENHAGEN, DENMARK
START DATE DECEMBER 1ST
The SOUNDBOKS Quality team works across the entire product lifecycle - from development and manufacturing to compliance, technical support, and repair service - to reduce failures, protect the business, and deliver better customer experiences.
With an offset in Product Quality, you’ll be just as much a part of the Product Development team as you are of the Quality team - working side by side with engineers to spot risks early, fix problems fast, and make sure our products leave the factory ready for anything. As the Product Quality Lead, you’ll be actively focusing on the reduction of both product defects and CoPQ (Cost of Poor Quality). If you thrive on solving problems, building cross-team partnerships, and making great products even better, you’ll fit right in.
Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like:
Leading Problem Solving
Finding and fixing the root causes of product and manufacturing issues, working with teams across the company to put solutions in place and making sure they actually work.
Running structured problem-solving methods (8D, A3, 5-Why), managing the “Quality Issues” Kanban, and tracking data for continuous improvement.
Partnering with Product Development
Working with Product Development teams from concept to production, making sure quality is built in from design through manufacturing.
Helping to define and review QA processes, running product audits, and supporting risk assessments for new and existing products.
Collecting, Analysing and Acting on Quality Metrics
Tracking product quality using data like defect rates, returns, and customer feedback, spotting trends and prioritizing actions.
Sharing insights and recommendations with leadership and teams in a clear, actionable way, and measuring the impact of improvements.
Maintaining Accurate and Up-to-Date Product Data
Keeping product specs, documentation, and certification reports accurate and current.
Helping to manage the Product Lifecycle Management system (Arena), making sure all quality-related data is easy to access and up to date.
Ensuring Global Quality Control Execution
Creating and maintaining quality control specs for products, and planning and overseeing inspections across warehouses and key locations.
Reviewing inspection results and taking action to fix any issues or non-conformances.
Boosting a Continuous Improvement and Quality Culture
Spotting opportunities to improve processes across development, manufacturing, and service, and helping teams understand how their work affects product quality and customer satisfaction.
Supporting training and knowledge-sharing on quality tools, processes, and standards to keep everyone aligned and improving.
In order to become a success in this role, we believe that your profile should be aligned with the bullets listed below. However, we acknowledge that success can take many forms, so please do apply even if you don’t tick all the boxes.
You enjoy solving problems and getting to the root cause, using structured approaches like 8D, A3, or 5-Why.
You have hands-on experience with hardware product development, quality control, and working with manufacturing or supplier partners, ideally in an international setting. Familiarity with audio products or consumer electronics is a plus.
You understand manufacturing processes, global supply chains, and product compliance, and experience with reliability or environmental testing is a bonus.
You’re comfortable working with data - analysing trends, measuring improvements, and using tools like PLM systems.
You thrive in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and can lead without formal authority.
You’re self-driven, persistent, and care about maintaining high quality standards.
Intrigued? At SOUNDBOKS you’ll find yourself a part of a community. We realize that growth is a process and we don’t expect you to go through it alone. Actually, we guarantee that you won’t have to. We work together in order to work smarter, we inspire each other to be better, and we never forget that every member of the team is responsible for our success.
So, if you’re tired of all of the noise in the job market, we’d love to hear from you. This may be the coolest job you ever have!
